עֶלֶםII m. (b. h.; עָלַם I) (vigorous, lad. Yeb.76b (ref. to 1 Sam. 17:55, sq.) התם קרי ליה נער והכא קרי ליה ע׳וכ׳ there he calls him young man, and here, lad!
